We are hiring for Laundry Attendant/Laundryman for Abu Dhabi.
Job Brief
A reliable, attentive individual responsible for sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry items in adherence to hygiene and quality standards. This role supports hostel, hotel, or facility operations and ensures clean linens and textiles are provided promptly.
Key Responsibilities
Sort laundry by color, fabric, and care instructions. Operate washers, dryers, pressing machines--load, unload, and monitor cycles. Treat stains and delicate items, perform minor repairs or sewing if needed. Fold, stack, tag, and prepare clean items for delivery or guest services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry area and equipment. Track inventory of detergents, linens, and report replenishment needs. Communicate with housekeeping or guests regarding special laundry requests or issues. Report damaged items, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisor.
Requirements
Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping roles preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment, fabrics, and cleaning chemicals. Physical ability to stand long hours and lift up to ~20?kg comfortably. Well?organized with good time?management skills and keen attention to detail. Basic communication skills in English (or local language) to follow instructions and interact.
