Job Overview:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for handling all laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing linens, uniforms, and garments. The role ensures that all laundry items are processed efficiently and meet cleanliness and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and correctly Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press items such as linens, towels, and uniforms Inspect laundry for stains or damage and apply appropriate treatments Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry room Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report when restocking is needed Follow hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times Handle guest laundry (if applicable) with care and within designated timelines
Requirements:
Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Attention to detail and quality Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift laundry loads Basic knowledge of fabric care and stain treatment techniques
