We have a great opportunity for a Laundry attendant to join our Laundry team. The successful applicant will be hardworking, meticulous and with a great eye for detail.

What we are looking for?

Previous experience in a 4* or 5* hotel.
Physically Active.
Attention to detail.
Lives and breathes the Shangri-La values.

What will you do?

Handle with proper attention the works assigned
Handles and maintains equipment / machine with care and according to instructions given.
Operates the washing machines and dryers as per operating procedures.
Operates flat work ironer as per operating procedures and ensures that the linen pare properly pressed and without stains or tears.
Maintains good quality for all guest and staff laundry / dry cleaning.
Fills in productivity reports of each work station.
Carries through all safety and hygienic best practices to maintain the working environment as a desired place.
Attend multi - skilled training in all different sections of laundry to maximize work performance and productivity.knowledgeable in all related procedures of the laundry and is well versed in any of the emergency policies.
Handles laundry equipment /machine with care as per established standard.
Reports any malfunctioning equipment /machine to service leader.
