LANDSCAPE ENGINEER

To develop plans to restore natural areas in residential and/or commercial areas. To incorporate knowledge of ecology, graphic design, plant materials, construction and computer technology into their work. To design a variety of spaces that includes parks, gardens, residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities

Must consider budget, client needs, functionality, government regulations and environmental impact when designing a site. Research both natural and man-made features that exist on proposed sites to determine how to improve them and work them into the plans. During the planning stage, landscape engineers may make several revisions to the design of the project. Compile reports, cost estimates, photos, illustrations, land use studies and models to create a proposal to submit to the client. List the needed materials and supplies, as well as construction details Ensure that their plans are followed during site construction Identify and report design and construction issues with the potential to result in maintenance or aesthetic issues and with a view to rectify, modify and resolve issues. Assist in acquiring information, plans and resources to ensure a seamless and cost-efficient transition from construction to maintenance processes and to ensure a thorough record and understanding of the installed landscape. Assist in representing the company in ensuring that completed landscape is of appropriate quality for handover to client and with any related deficiencies recorded and with agreed timeframes for remediation. Monitor routine maintenance and progress on reported deficiencies and ensure that maintenance is of good standard that ensures the viability and continued success of the installation and that issues are reported and addressed. Ensure that all contractual obligations and associated Service Level Agreements are met. Ensure that contractual works are of a high quality, safely delivered and are managed to consider community comfort and convenience. Assist in the design, development and tender of the Landscape Maintenance Contract.

IRRIGATION ENGINEER

Contribute as a member of FM Operations to the accomplishment of the company's goals and is accountable to the Landscape Manager for the performance of the assigned jobs.

To execute all landscape and Irrigation related works on sites as per directives of the Operations Team in accordance with the stipulated safety standards and quality requirements.

The irrigation engineer will be responsible for operation and maintenance of irrigation system (manual / Automatic) including submission of upgradation plans and schedule submission as per the site and weather requirements.

Major responsibilities includes but not limited to:

1. Maintain and operate the irrigation system (manual / Automatic) for landscape related assets as per the guidelines issued by the competent authorities and company policies.

2. Suggest, Design and implement High Efficiency Irrigation System (HEIS) to the clients in coordination with QS and design department.

3. Plan, Design and oversee any irrigation system upgradation / construction projects for efficient distribution and utilization of irrigation water across the landscape assets.

4. Prepare a daily/weekly/monthly report along with safe keeping of all the records i.e. drawing, materials submission and approvals etc.

5. Estimation and prepare bills of quantities required for Landscape & Irrigation system (maintenance and upgradation) works.

6. Preparing the Landscape & Irrigation system inspection schedules subject to all AMC sites to maintain the excellent quality of landscape.

7. Attend and report emergency breakdown (if any) plan for the rectification works immediately along with all submission as per the client requirements and company policy.

8. The irrigation engineer should be flexible in the duty timings and should report to the site as and when required.
