Job Description

We're seeking a Landscaping Attendant who's responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and health of the landscaping areas, including gardens, lawns, trees, and outdoor spaces. The role involves planting, trimming, watering, fertilizing, and general upkeep of the grounds, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and safe for guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Care: Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery. Ensure proper watering, fertilizing, and mulching as required.

Lawn Maintenance: Mow, edge, aerate, and fertilize lawns. Remove weeds and dead plants to promote healthy growth.

Pruning & Trimming: Trim and prune trees, shrubs, and plants to ensure proper growth and appearance.

Pest Control: Monitor for pests or plant diseases and apply appropriate treatments.

Irrigation Systems: Operate and maintain irrigation systems, adjusting as necessary to ensure all plants are properly watered.

Grounds Upkeep: Clear debris, rake leaves, and maintain cleanliness in all outdoor areas.

Landscape Design: Assist in the development and execution of landscape designs and layouts.

Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers.

Safety: Ensure safe working conditions by following all safety protocols and guidelines.

Seasonal Tasks: Perform seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal in winter or planting seasonal flowers and plants.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred.

Knowledge of plants, flowers, and trees commonly found in the area.

Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
