The candidate will work closely with landscape architects, contractors, and consultants to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare engineering designs, grading plans, drainage layouts, and site development drawings for landscape projects.
Develop and implement irrigation, stormwater management, and water-efficient systems.
Coordinate with landscape architects, urban planners, contractors, and consultants to integrate civil works with landscape design.
Supervise on-site works including earthworks, paving, retaining walls, drainage, and irrigation installations.
Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and BOQs.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Liaise with local authorities for approvals, permits, and inspections.
Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project progress documentation.
Ensure sustainable and innovative engineering solutions are applied to enhance project efficiency and environmental performance.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (preferred, depending on country).
Previous experience in civil engineering with a focus on landscaping, infrastructure, or site development.
Experience working on urban development, parks, irrigation systems, or road/bridge projects with landscape integration.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, hydrology, soil mechanics, grading, and structural design.
Familiarity with landscape planning, planting design, irrigation, and sustainable site practices.
Awareness of environmental regulations, zoning laws, and local authority approval processes.
Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
Key Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, GIS, and other engineering/landscape design software.
Ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Strong problem-solving abilities for site design, drainage, grading, and structural challenges.
Effective verbal and written communication for reports, drawings, and stakeholder discussions.
Ability to work with architects, landscape architects, contractors, and government authorities.
Knowledge of green infrastructure, water conservation, and eco-friendly materials.
Accuracy in technical drawings, specifications, and site inspections.
