Job Description

A Landscape Civil Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of outdoor spaces and infrastructure that integrate natural and built environments. They ensure that landscape designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, sustainable, and compliant with engineering and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with landscape architects, urban planners, and clients to understand project requirements. Prepare and review site development plans including grading, drainage, storm water management, paving, and utility layouts. Design and manage irrigation systems, retaining walls, pedestrian pathways, and outdoor structures. Conduct topographical and geotechnical analyses to inform design. Prepare construction documents, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and technical specifications. Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations and environmental standards. Monitor site work to ensure adherence to design and quality. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and local authorities during execution. Prepare cost estimates and project schedules. Address engineering problems that arise during construction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required) Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Landscape Architecture (preferred but not mandatory) 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil or landscape engineering Experience in landscaping, infrastructure development, or site design Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or other CAD software Knowledge of hydraulic modelling and storm water drainage design Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and environmental regulations Competence in using project management tools and MS Office Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to work in cross-functional teams Project and time management skills Holding a valid UAE Driving License
