Job Title: Landscape Manager

Department: Landscaping / Facilities Management

Location: UAE, Dubai

Job Summary:

The Landscape Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and maintenance of landscape projects, ensuring that all green areas, softscapes, and hardscapes meet high-quality standards, environmental regulations, and client expectations. The role includes managing a team of supervisors, gardeners, subcontractors, and liaising with clients and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all landscape operations including installation, irrigation, maintenance, and softscape/hardscape execution. Review and interpret landscape design drawings, BOQs, specifications, and schedules. Develop work plans, allocate resources, and schedule tasks to ensure timely project completion. Oversee planting and turfing activities, ensuring appropriate selection of plants and materials for the environment. Manage irrigation systems -- installation, operation, and maintenance. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements. Monitor site progress and prepare regular reports for management and clients. Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are implemented on-site. Manage procurement and ensure quality of landscaping materials delivered to site. Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and assist in tender submissions. Train and supervise landscape staff and provide performance feedback.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in landscape management, including large-scale projects. Strong technical knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, and horticultural practices. Proficiency in reading landscape drawings and project specifications. Familiarity with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in landscaping or irrigation systems (e.g., from Dubai Municipality or equivalent). Experience with Gulf region climate and plants. Knowledge of sustainability practices in landscaping.
