Landscape Inspector (Consultancy Background)
Job Overview:
The Landscape Inspector supervises the execution of hardscape and softscape works for horizontal developments and villa communities, ensuring the landscaping meets design intent, quality standards, and irrigation efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect all landscape works: earthworks, grading, irrigation piping, lighting, hardscape (paving, walls, structures), and softscape (planting, turfing).
Review and approve landscape material submittals, including plant nursery stock.
Monitor irrigation system installation and ensure efficient water management as per design.
Ensure proper soil preparation, planting techniques, and health of plant material.
Coordinate with civil and electrical teams for integrated site works.
Prepare daily inspection reports and snag lists for landscape contractors.
Witness tests for irrigation system pressure and functionality.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or Agricultural Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in landscape inspection with a consultancy background.
Relevant experience in large-scale horizontal developments, villa communities, or public parks is required. High-rise experience is not the primary focus.
Strong knowledge of plant species, irrigation systems, and landscape materials suitable for the regional climate.
