We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Foreman/Supervisor to lead and manage landscaping crews for both residential and commercial projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of landscapes, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in landscape management, a solid understanding of horticulture, and a hands-on leadership approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of landscape technicians and laborers on various job sites.
Interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure successful execution.
Coordinate and manage project scheduling, materials, equipment, and manpower to meet deadlines.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as skid steers, mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques, safety, and best practices.
Maintain high-quality standards in planting, irrigation, hardscaping, and overall maintenance.
Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project flow.
Document work progress, hours worked, and materials used for accurate reporting.
Troubleshoot on-site issues related to irrigation systems, plant health, or any unforeseen challenges.
Keep the job site organized and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of landscape construction or maintenance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Experience with landscape installation, hardscaping, irrigation systems, and turf/plant care.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
Proficient in reading and interpreting landscape plans and blueprints.
A valid driver's license is required for this role.
