Overview of the role

The primary responsibility of the position is to assure that the property receives quality landscape maintenance throughout assigned lands and properties. This is accomplished by coordinating and monitoring the performance of the sub-contractors so that the agreed quality standards are obtained. Support client in any future landscaping projects and upgrades; ensure efficient and effective coordination, direct supervision of landscape works and their related services, including vendor management, services and support, in line with management directives.

What you will do.

Corrective/Reactive, Planned preventive maintenance

• Conducting site inspections, conditional assessment of assets, assess HSE and operational risk and reporting
• Identify critical system, services, assets and ensure necessary contingency plan in place to avoid down time and disruption of services
• Prepare contract specific PPM procedures, PPM schedule, and resource planning
• Prepare method statements, risk assessment, PPM Task sheet
• Tally and close all planned PPM work orders on monthly basis
• Efficiently execute corrective and reactive maintenance, achieve agreed service level agreements (SLA), KPI\'s.
• Handle escalations, emergencies and resolve all customer complaints, prepare technical reports
• Adherence to the set standards and provide expert advice to the team
• Calibration of all tools and tackles, safety devices
• Schedule, coordinate and oversee the maintenance contracts of Sub Contractors

Quality Control:

• Conduct before and after inspections of site conditions of landscaping and irrigation system operations.
• Identify insect and disease issues and report to appropriate hierarchy
• Report turf and tree stress to appropriate hierarchy
• Assist relevant staff in completion of required tasks

Employee Supervision

• Oversee proper safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment usage and practices of relevant staff
• Conduct \xe2\x80\x9con the job\xe2\x80\x9d training as needed
• Prioritize the day\'s work list and assign duties to crew members
• Begin to develop working knowledge of production planning and scheduling

Communication:

• Proactively address questions or issues
• Review site with appropriate hierarchy
• Update Supervisor on status of site
• Suggest improvements

Administrative & Technical:

• Complete assigned Work Orders with due dates
• Complete paperwork on any accidents and report them to management
• Perform chemical inventory
• Perform equipment inventory
• Track Scheduled work hours vs. actual hours
• Communicate Scheduled vs. actual hours plan with Management
• Assist in monthly scheduling
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness

Relationship:

• Continuous Coordination with admin staff and other entities to ensure good flow of information to achieve customer objectives.

What equips you for the role

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

Minimum qualification- Bachelor\'s degree in Agriculture, Landscape Architecture or equivalent

Certification in Horticulture is preferable

Minimum Exeperience: 3-5 years Middle east

Minimum 4-6 years Supervisory LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE/TURF experience, including leadership skills, is required.

Job-Specific Skills:

- Plant and turf identification and care, including disease and insect knowledge

- Golf course maintenance Expertise

- Must have competency in proper handling and knowledge of various lawn care machinery

- Standard units of measure

- Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, area, square feet

- Safety requirements

- UAE driving license

- Operation of TORO Irrigation system and controls

- TORO LYNX operating system

ABILITIES:

- Good verbal skills (Read and Write both in English)
