The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in civil engineering with knowledge of landscaping requirements to ensure outdoor spaces are structurally sound, functional, and visually appealing. This role involves close collaboration with landscape architects, contractors, and site teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and prepare civil design drawings for landscape and infrastructure projects, including grading, drainage, stormwater, and irrigation layouts.
Coordinate with landscape architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure design compatibility and constructability.
Conduct site analysis, topographical studies, and engineering surveys to support design development.
Prepare design calculations, technical reports, tender documents, and BOQs for civil and landscape works.
Ensure compliance with local authority standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
Provide technical support during construction, including responding to site queries, reviewing shop drawings, and inspecting works for quality assurance.
Integrate sustainable and environmentally responsible engineering solutions within landscape projects.
Participate in value engineering, cost estimation, and project planning activities.
Collaborate with project managers to monitor schedules, budgets, and progress.
Support client presentations and technical reviews as required.
Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or a related discipline.
Additional training in environmental design, irrigation systems, or stormwater management is an advantage.
Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience in landscape and civil infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in design documentation, site coordination, and construction supervision.
Background in urban development, parks, resorts, or public realm projects is desirable.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, InfraWorks, or other design software.
Strong understanding of grading, drainage, stormwater systems, irrigation, and utility coordination.
Knowledge of landscape construction materials, methods, and detailing.
Ability to prepare technical specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
Familiarity with LEED, Estidama, or other green building standards is a plus.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and coordination abilities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
High attention to technical accuracy and design quality.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
