Job Description

The Landscape and Pool Construction Engineer is responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing technical aspects of landscaping and swimming pool construction projects. The engineer ensures the structural integrity, functionality, safety, and aesthetic quality of the designs while coordinating with consultants, clients, vendors, and the site execution team.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Design Coordination

:

Review and interpret landscape and pool design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. Coordinate with landscape architects and pool designers for construction feasibility and technical clarifications. Provide inputs on structural and MEP integration in pool and landscape areas.

Execution & Supervision

:

Oversee civil works related to pool shell construction, decking, retaining walls, water features, drainage systems, etc. Supervise waterproofing, piping (inlets, outlets, suction, overflow), tiling, filtration system installation, and testing of pool components. Monitor hardscape and softscape installation in landscape areas, ensuring proper grading, soil preparation, irrigation, and planting. Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and quality standards.

Quality Control & Safety

:

Inspect materials and workmanship regularly to ensure adherence to project standards and specifications. Coordinate pressure testing for pipelines, waterproofing checks, and pool leak testing. Implement and monitor HSE protocols at site, especially during excavation, lifting, and waterproofing works.

Project Coordination

:

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project managers. Highlight technical issues and propose solutions proactively.

Documentation & Handover

:

Maintain records of inspections, test reports, material approvals, and as-built drawings. Support commissioning and final handover process, including client demonstrations for pool equipment.

Basic Requirements

:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or equivalent. 5-7 years of experience in landscape and pool construction projects (preferably in the UAE/GCC). Strong understanding of waterproofing, plumbing, pool filtration systems, concrete works, and landscape execution. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and site reporting tools. Valid UAE driving license (preferred). Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
