Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Land Surveyor

with a strong background in

infrastructure and road construction projects

. The ideal candidate will conduct detailed land surveys for roadways, highways, bridges, drainage systems, and other infrastructure/projects. The Land Surveyor will work closely with project teams, engineers, and construction managers to ensure accurate data collection and assist with the planning and executing of infrastructure/landscape projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform land surveys and topographic surveys for roads, highways, bridges, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure projects. Gather data on elevations, alignments, slopes, and boundaries to support design and construction. Set out control points, benchmarks, and alignments for the construction of roadways, utilities, drainage, and other infrastructure systems. Verify project dimensions on-site and confirm the accuracy of construction against design plans. Prepare detailed reports, survey plans, maps, and drawings, ensuring all survey data is correctly recorded and documented for future reference. Work closely with civil engineers, road designers, and construction teams to review plans and specifications, providing survey data necessary for the design and execution of road and infrastructure projects. Ensure that all survey work meets local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and that construction works adhere to proper alignment, grade, and other design specifications. Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot survey equipment to ensure high precision and reliability in field data collection. Address survey-related issues and discrepancies in data or construction, offering technical solutions to resolve issues that may arise during the project.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on surveying experience in infrastructure/Landscape, road, or civil engineering projects. (Mandatory)

AUTO CAD Experience is Mandatory
