LAND SURVEYOR (Roads & Infrastructure)

About the Role:
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced and proactive Land Surveyor to join a major, fast-paced road and infrastructure project in the UAE. The ideal candidate will hit the ground running, leveraging their in-depth local experience to ensure precise measurement, layout, and compliance, directly contributing to the project's critical path and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all surveying duties for road construction, drainage, utilities, and earthworks.
• Conduct topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and cross-section surveys.
• Set out and mark alignment, grades, and all construction points using advanced surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Levels, etc.).
• Verify and ensure all site work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey data, reports, sketches, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and site foremen to ensure seamless workflow.
• Monitor site activities to identify and resolve any discrepancies related to levels or alignment promptly.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on land surveying experience within the UAE.
• Proven track record on major road construction and infrastructure projects (e.g., highways, interchanges, utility networks).
• Expertise with modern surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS/GNSS - Leica, Trimble, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in surveying software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written); Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Valid UAE driving license is essential.
