Job Description

The Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting precise measurements and layout tasks to support the execution of interior fit-out works, including partitions, ceilings, MEP installations, and joinery. The role ensures that works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and tolerance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform site surveys, level checks, and as-built surveys for interior fit-out projects. Set out and mark accurate reference points, levels, and alignments for partitions, ceilings, joinery, and MEP services. Verify design layouts and ensure they match actual site conditions and architectural drawings. Coordinate with design and execution teams to resolve site discrepancies. Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys. Use surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS, laser levels, and other tools required for precise measurements. Ensure timely submission of as-built drawings and survey reports. Monitor and report any deviations from approved layout plans. Maintain proper documentation and backups of all survey data and drawings. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during survey activities.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.

Experience:

2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in interior fit-out or construction projects.

Skills:

Proficient in using total station, GPS, auto-level, and laser equipment. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings. Familiarity with site coordination and construction processes. Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, or office fit-out projects. Certification in land surveying or civil drafting.

Working Conditions:

Primarily site-based work within interior project environments. May require extended hours and weekend work based on project needs.
