Job Description

Stantec is currently seeking a Land Surveyor to join our team in Dubai. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a key role in our projects by providing accurate and reliable survey data to our clients. You will be responsible for conducting field surveys, collecting data, and preparing reports for various land development and infrastructure projects in Dubai and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field surveys using various survey equipment, including total stations, GPS, and laser scanners
• Collect and analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare topographic, boundary, and construction surveys
• Create and maintain survey drawings using AutoCAD and other software
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project requirements are met
• Communicate with clients to understand project objectives and provide updates on progress
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working on site
• Train and mentor junior surveyors as needed
• Stay up to date with industry advancements and new surveying techniques

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in the Middle East
• Proficient in using survey equipment and software, including total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of surveying principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• MUST HAVE experience working with supervision consultants
• MUST HAVE full and complete knowledge of existing infrastructure networks in the emirates of Dubai
• Valid driver's license (Preferred)
