As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting accurate field surveys, preparing survey reports, and providing essential data that will inform engineering and construction decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land measurement, mapping, and site layout.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys on project sites.
Use surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS/GNSS, levels, and data collectors.
Prepare and maintain detailed field notes, sketches, and survey reports.
Interpret construction drawings and assist with setting out works based on design plans.
Verify site levels, alignments, and dimensions for construction accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure correct implementation.
Process survey data and produce accurate drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
Ensure all surveying activities are performed in compliance with local regulations and project requirements.
Maintain survey equipment and ensure calibration as needed.
Report discrepancies, obstructions, or design conflicts observed on-site.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of land surveying experience in the construction industry in GCC but preferably in Qatar.
Proficiency with modern surveying equipment
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant surveying software.
Strong attention to detail and excellent spatial awareness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license is a plus.
