One of our leading Construction industry clients in the UAE is looking for a Land & Maritime - Testing Specialist.

The Test Specialist (Land and Maritime) is chiefly responsible for the planning and design of all land and maritime tests

Responsibilities

Other responsibilities will include:

Work with technical specialists, project managers, and engineers from across UAE and International clients to plan land and maritime-based tests and trials.

Work with Instrumentation Leads to establish the optimum data capture strategy for all land and maritime tests

Working with the client and instrumentation leads, create a Test Plan for all land and maritime-based tests and trials.

Help the Range Conducting Officers produce a day plan for all tests.

Ensure that the correct safety trace is applied to all land and maritime-based tests and trials.

Ensure that a hazardous activity risk assessment is completed for all land and maritime-based tests and trials.

Ensure that a test report is produced in accordance with customer requirements and the contracted responsibilities of the organization.

Working with the instrumentation leads, ensuring that the equipment strategy for the Range matches the client\'s needs in the future.

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

Qualifications

Degree level education or Ordnance Explosives and Ammunition MSc.

Requisites:-

Knowledge of land-based test and evaluation

Knowledge of the regulatory environment of the United Arab Emirates

Knowledge of land and maritime military products

Knowledge of range instrumentation.

Knowledge of the storage and use of explosives, ammunition, and firearms.

Knowledge of land, sea and air defense equipment

Knowledge of land, sea, and air military operations

Should have a Driving License, Strong communication and training skills, document development skills, leadership qualities, Physically fit and sound, and Fluency in English.

Arabic speaker - desirable
