Job Overview The Laboratory Technologist is responsible for undertaking a variety of technical laboratory procedures. The main responsibilities including analyzing samples, conducting tests and reporting results. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collecting, labeling, and analyzing samples using the correct testing equipment.
• Designing and performing laboratory testing according to the standard testing procedures.
• Recording all experimental data and test results accurately.
• Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
• Ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
• Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
• Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
• Ordering laboratory supplies.
• Providing technical support.
• Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
• Adopting safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations in the State of Qatar.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology
• Must have a QCHP license as a Laboratory Technologist
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of total experience
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Excellent physical condition and endurance
• Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
