Key Responsibilities

Testing & Analysis

Perform physical, chemical, and mechanical testing of PET resin, preforms, sheets, and thermoformed products. Conduct tests such as melt flow index (MFI), intrinsic viscosity (IV), density, color (haze, yellowness), moisture content, crystallinity, tensile strength, etc. Analyze additives, stabilizers, and possible contaminants. Use spectroscopic techniques (FTIR, UV-Vis), chromatography (if applicable), and other polymer characterization methods.

Quality Control / Assurance

Verify that raw materials (PET resin) comply with supplier specifications. Check in-process materials and final products for compliance with internal and customer specifications. Monitor batch-to-batch consistency. Support in troubleshooting quality issues -- e.g., off-spec products, rejects, failures.
