We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Supervisor / Head Chef with strong skills in Italian cuisine specifically pasta and pizza to lead and manage a kitchen team of 10 chefs. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, maintain high-quality food standards, and support the growth and efficiency of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and train a kitchen team of approximately 10 chefs
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food preparation
Maintain standards for Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, and related items
Create and maintain recipe consistency and quality control
Coordinate with management on menu development and improvements
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering
Work with the team to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or head chef role
Strong background in Italian cuisine (pasta and pizza required)
Proven ability to lead and manage a medium-sized kitchen team
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, safety, and hygiene standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary diploma or relevant certification (optional but an advantage)
Experience in high-volume restaurants
