Job Summary

: We are seeking a meticulous and hardworking Stewards to join our fine dining establishment. The Kitchen Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper techniques and equipment.

Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, including floors, countertops, appliances, and storage areas, ensuring a spotless and hygienic environment. Properly dispose of garbage and recycling, maintaining cleanliness and order in the waste disposal areas. Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring proper cleaning and storage. Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as washing vegetables. Receive and store deliveries of food and supplies, ensuring proper rotation and organization of stock.

Qualifications:

Can speak English well, and Arabic (preferred) Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment as steward or cleaner is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
