Kitchen Steward
Job Description
EcoMind Cafe is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward to join our vibrant team. Situated in the peaceful surroundings of Port de La Mer, we are a vegan, eco-friendly cafe focused on providing wholesome, plant-based cuisine with an emphasis on sustainability and quality.
As a Steward, you will play an essential role in maintaining our standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. You'll support our kitchen and service teams by ensuring all dining and kitchen areas are spotless, equipment is well-maintained, and supplies are readily available, contributing to a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Wash, dry, and store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain a clean and organized kitchen. Support kitchen staff by organizing and sanitizing workstations. Take responsibility for waste management, ensuring sustainable disposal methods are followed. Ensure the cleanliness of client seating areas, including tables, chairs, and floors, both indoors and on the terrace. Clean floor, windows, glass doors, and partitions for clear visibility. Regularly dust and sanitize all surfaces, promptly address spills, and keep all guest spaces tidy and inviting for a comfortable experience. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and kitchen tools as needed. Assist with basic kitchen tasks during peak hours. Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality or food service preferred. Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Commitment to eco-friendly practices and sustainability.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
