Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:



Collaborate closely with all Kitchen and Service team members. Perform duties according to the assigned schedule and shift. Carry out all stewarding tasks as per given instructions. Ensure that the kitchen is always clean, well-maintained, and organized. Maintain a hygienic working environment in full compliance with health, safety, and company standards. Support Cooks and Servers as required. Clean food preparation areas, storage rooms, walk-in refrigerators, kitchen utensils, corridors, and equipment. Conduct general cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and disposing of waste in designated containers. Clean, wash, and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment following standard procedures. Maintain floors and walls in the kitchen and dishwashing area according to hygiene protocols. Portion and pack food as per specifications. Maintain kitchen safety by promptly cleaning spills and ensuring all equipment, ovens, vents, floors, and walls are properly cleaned. Empty, wash, and return trash bins; ensure waste is properly transported to designated collection areas. Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned by the Head Chef, adhering to established schedules and performance standards. Ensure all machinery and equipment are cleaned and sanitized per company hygiene guidelines. Keep all kitchen areas tidy, organized, and presentable at all times. Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming. Take reasonable care for personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace. Immediately report any hazardous conditions, near-misses, or injuries to the supervisor. Avoid any actions that could endanger the health or safety of others. Use all equipment, facilities, and tools safely and responsibly. Operate all equipment according to instructions, avoiding interference or misuse. Strictly adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure all dishware, cutlery, crockery, and kitchen utensils are properly cleaned and maintained. Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage. Sweep and mop floors, clean carpet areas, and perform spot cleaning as required. Replenish consumable supplies (soap, paper towels, cleaning chemicals) as needed. Ensure all hand basins and sinks are cleaned regularly.

Skills and Requirements:



Age between 20 and 35 years. High School Diploma or equivalent certification. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. At least 1 year of experience in a central kitchen environment. Proven knowledge of kitchen stewarding operations. Candidates available in the UAE and able to join immediately will be given priority. Excellent communication skills. Proactive attitude and professional demeanor. Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
