Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:



Work in close cooperation with all Kitchen and Service Colleagues

Work as per duty schedule and shifts

Perform all stewarding tasks as per given instructions

Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times

Maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards. Adhere to all sanitation guidelines

Assist the Cooks and Servers as and when necessary

Clean food processing facilities, storage rooms, walk in fridge's, kitchen utensils, immediate corridors and holding areas as well as the operation equipment

Carry out general cleaning as directed to include sweeping, mopping up, washing up, emptying of rubbish bins and boxes ensuring placement in the correct containers

Clean, wash and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures.

Cleans and maintains floors and walls in kitchen and dish washing area by following standard procedures.

Portions and packs food according to specifications given

Help maintain safety in the kitchen by clearing spills promptly, keeping all kitchen equipment, oven vents, all floor, wall, and cook surfaces, thoroughly clean Empty, wash, and return trash or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designate collection points
Perform general cleaning duties as assigned by the Head Chef in accordance with established standards of performance and schedules.

Ensure that all machineries and equipment are clean and sanitized according to the established hygiene and sanitation standard

Keep all kitchen areas clean, neat, tidy and well organize at all times

Ensure that high standard of personal hygiene and grooming are strictly observed and followed

Take reasonable care not only for the safety of his/her own health but also for the safety of other people who may be affected by their conduct in the work place.

Make sure to report immediately any hazardous conditions, near misses and injuries to the supervisor.

Must not intentionally place at risk the health or safety of any person in the workplace.

Handle / use all provided resources, facility and tools in a safe manner

Ensure to use equipment in compliance with appropriate guidance without intentional interference or misuse.

Must fully comply and abide by the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) of the company

Ensure the cleanliness of all dishware. Maintain Cutlery, Crockery and Kitchen Utensils.

Ensure minimum wastage, breakage and spoilage

Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops. Responsible for mop floors with wet or damp mops. Clean carpet areas and spot cleaning carpets

Replenish consumable items (soap, paper towels, chemicals) if required within the contract;

Ensure to clean hand basins and sinks

Skills and Requirements:


Age 20 to 35 years old

Diploma in High School or any related certification

At least 1 year of experience in a relevant position

Min 1 year of central kitchen experience

Familiarity with kitchen steward operations/Proven kitchen experience

Candidates who can start immediately will be prioritized and available in United Arab Emirates

Excellent communication skills

Should be able to work proactive and carry a professional approach

Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,100.00 - AED1,300.00 per month
