This role combines kitchen hygiene and maintenance responsibilities with basic food
preparation support to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including utensils, equipment,
floors, and storage areas.
Wash and properly store dishes, tools, and cooking equipment.
Assist chefs in basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning, and storing
ingredients).
Help in plating and garnishing dishes when required.
Receive, organize, and store deliveries and supplies.
Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling and safety practices.
Monitor stock of cleaning and kitchen supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
Provide general support to chefs and kitchen staff as required.
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina for standing long hours and handling lifting tasks.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends
