Job Description

A kitchen steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are sanitized and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities



Cleaning and Sanitizing

: Ensure all kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly to maintain hygiene standards.

Dishwashing

: Operate dishwashing equipment and wash dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils efficiently.

Waste Management

: Dispose of waste and recyclables properly, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Support Kitchen Staff

: Provide assistance to chefs and kitchen staff as needed, helping with food preparation and other tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
