Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, pots, and pans.
Operate dishwashing machines and manually wash dishes as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, kitchen surfaces, and waste areas.
Ensure proper segregation and disposal of kitchen waste.
Restock clean items in their designated storage areas.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring availability of clean tools and workspaces.
Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
Use cleaning chemicals safely and store them as per safety guidelines.
Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Team-oriented and dependable.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
