Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
Wash dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and cutlery using manual and mechanical cleaning methods.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, storage areas, and back-of-house areas at all times.
Dispose of garbage and waste properly and follow recycling procedures.
Refill kitchen supplies, such as soaps, sanitizers, and cleaning materials.
Assist chefs and cooks with basic preparation work as requested.
Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored safely after use.
Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and hygiene policies strictly.
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Support other kitchen staff during busy service hours.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in kitchen or stewarding work (preferred, but not mandatory).
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Physically fit to handle heavy lifting and long standing hours.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
