Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food service and hospitality. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet our high standards.

Duties

Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and preparing ingredients Support banquet operations by ensuring the timely cleaning of items used during events Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during peak service times Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Handle food items responsibly while adhering to proper food handling techniques

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and cleaning processes is beneficial Experience with banquet service or catering is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration Knowledge of hospitality standards and commitment to providing excellent service Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to dishwashing
