We are Maki & Ramen - a growing, Japanese-inspired dining brand known for our homemade ramen, freshly prepared sushi, and warm, attentive hospitality. As we expand into the UAE, we are bringing our passion for quality, craft, and memorable guest experiences to Dubai.

For our newest Dubai location, we are looking for an experienced and adaptable Back of House team member to support the pre-opening kitchen mobilisation and contribute to the success of our first site in the region. You will play an important role in maintaining kitchen standards, supporting service readiness, and helping deliver a smooth and successful international opening. Key Responsibilities

Support the pre-opening kitchen mobilisation, including set-up, preparation, training and soft-opening services. Prepare and cook food in line with brand standards, recipes and presentation guidelines. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and organisation across all kitchen areas. Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service. Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures in line with company and local regulations. Assist with stock rotation, waste control and basic kitchen administration as required.

Skills & Qualifications

Previous Back of House or kitchen experience within a fast-paced hospitality environment. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Strong teamwork skills with a reliable and flexible approach to work. Ability to perform well under pressure during busy service periods. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency. Willingness to learn, adapt and support an international brand opening.
