We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team as a leader chef, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our kitchen staff. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a leadership role, showcasing the ability to guide and motivate a team. To be successful as a Japanese cuisine chef, you should work well under pressure with a great attitude and maintain restaurant standards during busy periods. Responsibilities:
Contract length: 24 months Salary: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month Experience:
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff.
- Ensure food quality and safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute menu items.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Organizing budgets and finances for the kitchen
- Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer
- Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality
- Preparing various types of Japanese fusion dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety
- Determining food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering
- Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines (HACCP REGULATIONS)
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a kitchen setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Associates degree in culinary arts is a plus
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Extraordinary great attitude, an outsider person-friendly and get to speak with the customers
Contract length: 24 months Salary: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month Experience:
