Assist in the preparation and basic cooking of hot food items under the supervision of the chef.
Wash, peel, chop, cut, and prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
Ensure all kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, and workstations are clean and sanitized.
Support chefs during meal service by bringing ingredients, plating dishes, and maintaining cleanliness.
Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures.
Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
Dispose of waste properly and keep the kitchen organized.
Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to the company's grooming standards.
Perform any other duties assigned by the chef or kitchen supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a catering or hotel kitchen preferred.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and hot environment.
Team player with good communication and time management skills.
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
