Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other appliances.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues with kitchen machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Maintain accurate service records and reports for all equipment serviced.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Recommend replacement or upgrades when equipment is beyond repair.
Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Equipment Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in commercial kitchen equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of appliances.
Good understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant technical certification is a plus (e.g., HVAC, refrigeration, electrical).
