Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Kitchen Equipment Technician

responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing all commercial kitchen equipment across our Abu Dhabi locations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of kitchen machinery, the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently, and ensure that all equipment operates safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including fryers, ovens, grills, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and other related appliances. Conduct regular preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and resolve them promptly. Inspect equipment and systems to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs. Ensure all repairs and installations are completed according to company standards and safety regulations. Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide quick, effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Coordinate with the operations and store teams to plan maintenance schedules with minimal disruption. Ensure proper handling of tools, spare parts, and materials. Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements when needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a

Kitchen Equipment Technician

in the F&B or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration Engineering (preferred). Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and electrical schematics. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations for food service equipment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent time management and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple service requests. Valid UAE driving license .

Preferred Skills

Experience in preventive maintenance planning. Basic knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Ability to handle tools and repair equipment with precision and safety. Strong customer service attitude when interacting with store teams.
