Role and Responsibilities:
As the Kids Salon Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our salon and ensuring that every child who walks through our doors leaves with a smile. Your responsibilities will include:
Recruiting, hiring, training and coaching salon staff
Creating work schedules for employees
Inventorying salon supplies and reordering as needed
Ensuring that the salon environment meets cleanliness and hygiene standards required by law
Resolving client complaints
Marketing the salon to attract new customers, building relationships
Performing salon services for customers as needed
Working closely with the owners of the salon
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a managerial role within the hair & beauty industry, preferably in a salon or spa with knowledge of Fresha.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading and motivating a team to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
Proven ability to manage salon operations, including appointment scheduling, inventory management, and financial administration.
Passion for working with children and creating magical experiences for them, coupled with a genuine interest in the latest trends and developments in children's hairstyling and grooming.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in salon hygiene and sanitation.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the salon and its clients.
