In this role, you will develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with designated accounts to accomplish organic growth of energy products and long-term company objectives.

As a Key Account Manager, you will have commercial and growth responsibility for Key Account ATL customers by generating and converting sales leads through persuasive selling and in accordance with the sales targets.
Here\xe2\x80\x99s some of the other things you can look forward to:
  • Develop and communicate strategic sales plans to increase market share and sales.
  • Main point of contact for the above the line (ATL) customers and develop long term relationships with major accounts through strategic account development plan.
  • Ensure achievement and execution of business targets in terms of volume, value and profitability.
  • Manage, pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers and project to ensure good business pipelines and business growth sustainability.
  • Develop long-term sales plans for key customers, accounts and project opportunities and monitor and adapt sales activities so that these objectives are met through strategic account development plan.
  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • Reactivation of dormant accounts with no Hempel transactions for the last 1-3+ years.
  • Price List management and documentation (ensuring adhering to Authority Matrix, archiving)
  • Providing customers with specifications, quotations as well as product advises including advanced technical knowledge.
  • Strong compliance focus in all financial transactions.
  • Using all given company tools to provide excellent quality of service to the customer.
  • Respond to more complex customer enquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue goals.
  • Manage working capital through active management of account receivables.
  • Actively use and update CRM Tools and IQS for Sales and business dashboards (i.e. regular updating of Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Tasks/Activities).
  • Shall adhere to all company policies, including procedures related to QMS and EMS.
    The role will be based in Qatar.
    This role will report into Sales Manager \xe2\x80\x93Energy.

    We expect that our future colleague will be experienced in the coating industry, familiar with different sales techniques, and systems, and have the ability to anticipate our clients\' needs and match them to the best solutions.
    You should also have the following qualifications:
    • A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration or any other related field (preferably Chemistry Degree).
    • Proven experience in commercially driven strategic sales is required.
    • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, CRM, Teams and Dynamic AX, D-365).
    • Quality oriented with proven experience in commercially driven strategic sales is required.
    • Organized and capable of meeting deadlines.
    • Familiarity with different sales techniques.
    • Flexible and adaptable attitude.
    • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated and driven.
