A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a talented Key Account Assistant Manager for Independent Retail (IR) who will develop and maintain sales strategy and implement it with distributors & dealers in the UAE, with the clear objective of achieving the company targets in terms of quantity & revenue on Visual Display (VD) products. They will find balance in sales between channels for proper contribution by all channels, whilst managing and monitoring the sales operations, developing and driving continuous product demand and ensuring product display quality.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Achievement of company targets based on proper Sell-in/sell-out strategies, which should be set up by the Key Account Manager (KAM)
• Monitor and drive product demand, stock level, competitor's promotion, and retail display quality

Achievement of company targets across the UAE:

• Lead role in the country-wise sales planning and target setting in order to attain higher market share in the local dealer market, and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify key models and liaise with marketing and channel to establish them as HIT products.
• Manage distributors and key dealers and perform channel development to ensure that the proper fulfilment of the objective of Samsung - achievement of sales revenue, market share, investment in the right channel
• Conduct key retailer management and enhance Samsung VD visibility in the Local Independent Retail (IR) market.
• Provide accurate and timely forecasts and required reporting to the management team.

Monitoring and driving product demand:

• Liaise with Marketing and dealers, ensuring enhanced product visibility in the dealer outlets in order to maintain dominating availability and display of Samsung products at the shop front.
• Conduct market-trend analysis and work closely with the channel to develop plans to overcome potential issues.
• Coordinate channel marketing and sell-out programs to ensure market share achievement.

What You'll Need

• Over 5 years of experience in distributor management within a consumer electronics environment with reputed companies. (Or similar experience in the sales field of FMCG and Consumer Electronics as well)
• Graduate or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related field
• A track record of success within the UAE, profile should be possible to check his or her reputation with the current (or old) HR department
• Ability to perform and work under different conditions and be a team player.
• Extensive sales thinking, demonstrable sales focus, pro-active and proven sales track record.
• Self-starter being able to work under minimal supervision.
• Excellent quantitative aptitude, commercial acumen, good persuasion skills, and assertive nature.
• Good PC skills- Excel, PowerPoint.
• Highly objective-oriented, catches the company's objective easily in different situations
