Role Overview :
As a Junior Veterinary Doctor, you will focus on poultry health, providing preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment to ensure the well-being of our clients' flocks. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship from senior veterinarians, and opportunities to grow in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct health assessments, vaccinations, and treatments for poultry. Diagnose and manage common poultry diseases and nutritional issues. Collaborate with farm managers to implement biosecurity and flock management protocols. Provide client education on poultry care and disease prevention. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. Assist in surgical procedures and emergency care when needed.
Qualifications :
Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution. 1-2 years of experience in poultry veterinary care. Knowledge of poultry diseases, biosecurity, and farm management practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency cases. Valid UAE veterinary license preferred. (or eligibility to obtain one). Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
