Junior Technical Engineer (Civil)*

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quantity Surveying:

- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for various civil engineering projects.

- Assist in managing project budgets and expenditures.

- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial viability.

2. Shop Drawing Preparation:

- Create and review detailed shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications.

- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to finalize design documents.

- Ensure timely submission and incorporation of feedback into drawings.

3. Technical Support:

- Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation.

- Provide technical support during construction phases, addressing any design-related issues.

- Participate in site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design standards.

4. Microsoft Office Proficiency:

- Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and presentations.

- Create spreadsheets for data analysis and project tracking.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with senior engineers and project teams to ensure project objectives are met.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

- 3-4 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and civil engineering.

- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
