ShareMatch is a fast-growing fintech startup building a digital trading marketplace. We're reshaping how retail investors participate in global markets by making trading more accessible, transparent, and efficient.

The Role

As a Junior Technical Analyst, you'll join our early technical team and play a key role in building, supporting and analysing our platform. This is an entry-level role designed for someone with coding exposure who enjoys problem-solving, working with data and bridging the gap between technical development and business operations in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You'll Do

Development & Data

Build and maintain features in Python, with a focus on APIs, integrations and data handling

Work with SQL databases to query, debug and improve performance

Generate technical reports and dashboards to support decision-making and system monitoring

Testing & Quality Assurance

Assist in testing new features, running QA and documenting bugs

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and communicate findings to the technical team

Operations & Support

Support CI/CD and deployment processes (Docker and basic cloud infrastructure)

Document processes and internal workflows for smooth knowledge-sharing

Provide operational support for colleagues using technical tools and systems

Collaboration & Analysis

Work closely with the CTO and team in Agile sprints

Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Contribute to feasibility assessments for new product features, vendor integrations and technical initiatives

What We're Looking For

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related STEM field Basic hands-on experience with Python, SQL and REST APIs (Docker a plus) Analytical mindset: able to break down problems logically and propose solutions Clear communicator, comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams Curious, adaptable and motivated to learn quickly in a startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

Personal or academic coding projects demonstrating initiative Exposure to fintech, data or cybersecurity topics Experience with cloud infrastructure, vendor APIs or data visualisation tools
