Overview
Support the wine program of a premium restaurant while building your pathway to Sommelier. Ideal for an accomplished Head Waiter/Waiter with WSET 2 who's ready to specialise. Join one of the top hospitality companies operating in the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with cellar management, stock rotation, and by-the-glass program Conduct tableside recommendations and pairing support with senior sommeliers Lead pre-service tastings and ongoing wine training for FOH teams Track sales mix and guest feedback to optimize list curation and margins Champion correct service of Champagne, decanting, and glassware standards
Qualifications
Solid waiter/head-waiter background in upscale dining WSET Level 2 (or equivalent) required Confident pairing recommendations and service etiquette (decanting, glassware) Excellent English; Italian/Russian/Spanish or any other European language an advantage Professional grooming; high attention to detail
