Job position: Risk & Safety Engineer
Job Location:
Abu Dhabi
Years of Experience:
5-8 yrs of proven experience in preparing complex technical safety studies for Oil and Gas projects (Onshore & Offshore)
Qualification:
Bachelor or Masters in Chemical Engineering / Process Safety or equivalent
Skills:
Strong Interpersonal Skills with good verbal & written communication in English
Project Management: Capable
to handle, lead/manage and execute Onshore and Offshore QRA and Safety Studies independently
Software Skills:
Must have proven hand on experience in the following software, as a minimum:
+ PHAST/SAFETI
+ Bow-tie XP or THESIS
+ FLARESIM
Involved in managing and executing technical studies for various projects within the field of competencies as detailed below:Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA)
Consequence Modeling/ Fire Risk Assessment Studies (FERA)
Building Risk Assessment (BRA)
Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA)
Flare Radiation & Dispersion Analysis
ALARP Study
COMAH/Safety Case Studies
PHA/ Bow-tie Analysis (would be a valuable plus)
3D F&G Mapping Studies (would be a valuable plus)
Dropped Object Studies (would be a valuable plus)
* Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis (ESSA) (would be a valuable plus)
