Via Medica International Healthcare is looking for a Junior Recruiter possessing international hiring expertise to join our Recruitment Team.

This position is responsible for meeting the International Operations recruitment requirements across all areas and countries in which they have operations. Filling open positions on existing projects and mobilizing qualified and credentialed medical professionals and other candidates on new projects. This entails sourcing, screening, and credentialing candidates by pro-actively developing and maintaining a candidate pipeline. This position will coordinate the interview process, facilitating offers/negotiations, and deployment.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Essential Functions
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment services for the deployment of qualified medical candidates to fulfil staffing requirements across the allocated region.
  • Proactively work with the operational, country management, commercial bid teams to determine future staffing requirements.
  • Continuously develop a diverse talent pool of newly registered medical candidates across a range of skills and experience in line with the profiles identified by the operations team in all countries of operations.
  • Continually re-qualify and manage their existing talent pool of medical candidates ensuring there are always available medical professionals for project staffing requirements.
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies to attract the required quantity and quality of medical candidates through direct advertising, candidate/employee referrals and networking opportunities.
  • Ensure candidates receive an appropriate response from the department when submitting an application or employment enquiry.
  • Coordinate the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s registration process including application review and short listing, telephone screening, medical assessment, and credentialing.
  • Enter and maintain records in the recruitment data base so that all information is current and accurate.
  • Conduct a search in the recruitment database for registered and available candidates on receipt of a manpower request.
  • Manage and coordinate the candidates short listing and introduction processes to the hiring team on receipt of a manpower request.
  • Coordinate telephone interview required for short listed candidates with the hiring team ensuring the recruitment process flows smoothly.
  • Coordinate the interviews for both operational and medical assessments of the candidate.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements for candidates attending face to face interviews outside of their residing city or country.
  • Build and maintain a professional working relationship with candidates who are progressing through the registration and recruitment process.
  • Coordinate the employment checks and pre-employment health check requirements for new candidates short listed from successful interviews and confirmed for deployment.
  • Coordinate the employment contract preparation and offer/negotiation process with the candidate and confidentially address and queries the candidate presents.
  • Coordinate the introduction of the candidate to the operations team to commence the deployment, visa and travel process.
  • Provide professional support and advise on talent acquisition and market trends in all areas where there are operations.
  • Compile weekly and monthly recruitment activity reporting as requested.
  • Prepare and revise job descriptions in conjunction with the operations and medical team managers.
  • Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with all key internal customers.
Additional Functions
  • Substitutes for other co-workers during their temporary absence; provides guidance, training, and/or assistance to other department personnel.
  • Personally responsible for protecting paper records, computer records, and other device associated with confidential public health information or data.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and always implementing applicable labor laws.
  • Participates in regular quality audits by always ensuring compliance of evidence/documents.
  • Performing other related tasks as required.
Minimum education level required: Educated to degree level or equivalent

Work experience: A minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 cognate experience in talent acquisition: sourcing, screening candidates.
