1. Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations is a MUST, including tracking shipments and vessel schedules.
2. Support the shipping department in preparing documentation, tracking shipments, and coordinating goods availability for shipment.
3. Liaise with freight forwarder if needed.
4. Experience assisting in procurement processes (preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers on pricing, availability and delivery schedules).
5. Following up on orders and ensure timely completion.
6. Keeping record and updated files of inventory of stocks.
7. Good project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines. Monitor project progress, timelines and deliverables.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
9. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
9. Detail-oriented with ability to support senior purchasing and logistics works effectively.
