SUMMARY OF THE ROLE As a Junior Purchaser, you will execute operational purchasing tasks in line with Group Purchasing policies, principles, guidelines and procedures for Indirect Materials in close cooperation with local stakeholders, in support of the company's business targets.

This position is part of our MEIA Graduate Program, which is tailor-made for young talents. Through this program, you will accelerate your career through personal development plans, local or international assignments, challenging and exciting tasks, and focused training programs over the course of a year.

This position is a full-time job based in Abu Dhabi- Musaffah Industrial Area & will report to the Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities: Assist in local purchasing tasks such as indirect materials procurement Align with internal stakeholders and provide relevant support Assist in evaluating optimal logistics solutions to support a cost-effective flow of goods to and from the site Assist in updating local parameters in IFS Matrix(Enterprise resource planning software) Support supplier invoice control in line with company guidelines Assist and support in tasks related to customs procedures and regulations Manage IM(Indirect materials) categories from different departments Negotiate with suppliers and issue Purchase orders Conduct supplier evaluation and choose the most optimum offer for Jotun Run suppliers'Audits to ensure they are meeting Jotun business standards

What We Look For: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain or Business Administration Graduates with 0-3 years of experience in Purchasing Fluency in English - both verbally and written Emirati Nationals Only (part of the Emiratization Program - Government Initiative) Competencies we look for: Communicates in a clear, precise, and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively.
