Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and select local suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with local vendors.
Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with company policies.
Coordinate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs.
Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain and update supplier database, purchase records, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with local procurement laws, company policies, and standards.
Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
Resolve any issues regarding delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies.
Prepare procurement reports and present updates to management
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of
1 years of experience in local procurement in Qatar
.
Strong knowledge of
the Qatar market, suppliers, and purchasing regulations
.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Valid Qatar driving license (preferred).
