Junior Planning Coordinator (Manpower Planning)
Job Title: Junior Planning Coordinator (Manpower & Resources)
Department: Planning / Operations
Reporting To: Senior Planning Manager / Projects Manager
Job Summary:
The Junior Planning Coordinator will support the planning department in efficiently allocating manpower and resources across multiple renovation projects. This role is crucial for optimizing productivity, preventing conflicts, and ensuring each project site has the right workforce at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining detailed manpower allocation schedules for all foremen, technicians, and helpers across projects.
• Track daily and weekly labor attendance and productivity.
• Coordinate with project managers and foremen to understand upcoming project phases and their labor requirements.
• Update and monitor project progress on tracking sheets and assist in preparing weekly progress reports.
• Help identify potential manpower shortages or conflicts and escalate them to the senior planner.
• Maintain records of employee skillsets, licenses, and certifications to ensure the right person is assigned to the right task.
• Assist in logistics coordination for moving crews and small equipment between sites.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a coordination role within construction, fit-out, or facilities management.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Basic understanding of construction sequences and terminology.
• Good communication skills to interact with site teams and management.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
