Job Title: Automotive Parts AdvisorJob Summary: The Automotive Parts Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expert advice on automotive parts. This role involves identifying, sourcing, and delivering the correct parts to service technicians and retail customers in a timely manner. The Parts Advisor ensures the parts department operates efficiently and maintains an organized inventory. Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service:
  • Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Understand customer needs and provide expert advice on automotive parts and accessories.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Parts Identification and Sales:
  • Identify the correct parts required for customer vehicles using catalogs, databases, and computer systems.
  • Provide accurate quotes and information regarding parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
  • Promote and upsell additional parts and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain an organized and accurate inventory of parts.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder parts as necessary to ensure adequate supply.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts shipments.
  • Collaboration with Service Technicians:
  • Work closely with service technicians to ensure they have the correct parts for vehicle repairs.
  • Provide timely updates on parts status and any potential delays.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Create and manage parts orders, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory movements.
  • Generate reports on parts usage, sales, and inventory status as required.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive parts and industry trends.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance department efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive technology is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an automotive parts department or related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using parts catalogs, databases, and inventory management software.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in identifying and ordering parts.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
Work Environment:
  • Work is typically performed in a parts department within an automotive dealership or repair shop.
  • May involve working in a warehouse or storage area.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month Experience:
